A controversial cannabis club in Newark re-opened late this week after more than a month of being closed. NBD Cannabis Collective was shut down that resulted in the arrest of the club's owners. On Thursday, a representative with the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that . Details of those charges have yet to be released.

Newark residents learned early this week that on Monday night. Police are still searching for a man after a report of an armed robbery at the at 5895 Stevenson Blvd. and are investigating an armed robbery reported out of at 5724 Thornton Ave.
