The Course

See the map of the 12k course (or 7.2 mile course for all us who don't know the metric system) that runs from Beale Street through Golden Gate Park in our attached PDFs. The course closes at 11:30 a.m. and the finish line closes at noon. Participants who do not pass JFK and Chain of Lakes drives by 11:30 a.m. will not get to cross the finish line or collect a finisher's medal.

Water and First Aid Stations

Water stations will be provided at three locations: Civic Center at Hayes Street between Larkin and Polk just before the two-mile mark; The Panhandle at Fell Street between Baker and Lyon just after the three-mile mark and Golden Gate Park at JFK Drive, west of Stow Lake Drive just after the five-mile mark. Water stations are provided by Breath California Volunteers, so don't forget to say thank you!

A total of eight First Aid stations will be provided by the Bay Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. The locations will be at Moscone Center, Alamo Square, JFK at Conservatory Drive, JFK at Transverse Drive, JFK at Spreckels Lake, JFK at Chain of Lakes Drive, JFK at Bernice Rodgers Drive and at the finish line.

Footstock
Join the post-race Zazzle Footstock after party. It will be held at Speedway Meadows in Golden Gate Park. There will be food, music, beer and exhibitors. To get there from the finish line, head east on MLK Drive to Middle Drive and signs will help you find your way. The distance from the finish line is approximately 1.5 miles. Don't forget to show off your creative costume. Costumes of registered runners will be judged between 9:30 and 11 a.m. You must have your race bib to enter the contest.

Patch will also be at Footstock. Come say hello and pick up some swag!
