Newark Days Traffic Advisory
Some main streets will be closed from 6 a.m. through 1:30 p.m.
To make way for a parade full of fun, main streets around town will be closed on Saturday.
Streets that will be impacted are Cedar Boulevard, Central Avenue, Mayhews Landing Road and Newark Boulevard, along with some residential streets and Civic Terrace Avenue.
From 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., northbound lanes of Newark Boulevard between between Central Avenue and Cedar Boulevard will be closed, along with northbound lands on Mayhews Landing Road between Thornton Avenue and Newark Boulevard.

Subsequentially, Cedar Boulevard will be closed between Newark Boulevard and Edgewater Drive.
Traffic officers suggest that motorists take alternate routes on the following roads: Cherry Street, Jarvis Avenue, Lake Boulevard and Sycamore Street.
