Mall Offers Tokens to Farmer's Market

Get credit for the Marin Farmer’s Market in Newark while shopping at the throughout the month of August.

Summer Suppers has officially started. The promotion allows you to gain credit for the Farmer's Market for every dollar you spend in the mall's shops that total more than $25.

All you have to do is shop, and save your receipts. Receipts from major department stores are not valid. The receipts do not have to be from the same day.

Here’s how it breaks down:

• Spend $25-$50, Get $5 in tokens
• Spend $51-$75, Get $10 in tokens
• Spend $76-$100, Get $15 in tokens
• Spend $101 plus, Get $20 in tokens

It is the second year NewPark Mall has offered Summer Suppers as a way to incorporate the mall’s stores and the weekly , said Kenia Ortiz, who works with the mall’s management office. A similar promotion is held in the fall.

To redeem your tokens, visit the Mall Management office on the upper level between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is located near Bobby’s Bamboo Grill.

The Farmer’s Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays. Approximately 40-50 vendors frequent the market.

The promotion runs through Aug. 31 or until supplies last. The mall is limited to 3,000 tokens to distribute.
