Customer Vandalizes Burger King After Being Refused 'Whopper With No [Expletive] Cheese'

You can’t always have it your way at Burger King.

At around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, a male customer in a Toyota Camry entered the Newark Boulevard Burger King drive-thru and asked for a Whopper Jr. with “no [expletive] cheese,” according to the Newark Police Department.

The employee asked the customer not to use profanity, which angered the suspect and sent him into a profanity-laden tirade, police said.
The employee refused to provide service to the man and asked him to leave.

According to police, the suspect backed his car out of the drive-thru, pulled up to the front of the Burger King, got out and threw a large rock at the north-facing window, causing it to shatter.

The suspect fled the area and was last seen driving northbound on Newark Boulevard.

Anyone with any information regarding the vandalism is asked to contact the Newark Police Department's non-emergency line at 510-578-4237, or call the Silent Witness Hotline at 510-578-4000, extension 500.
