Circus Comes to Newark in Mid-June

American Crown Circus will host various shows over a four-day period between June 15 and June 18.

Get ready to clown around next weekend: The circus is coming to town.

American Crown Circus returns to Newark for for four days starting on June 15, and each show will feature circus acts including clowns, jugglers, high-wire acrobatics and trapeze artists.

Sponsored by the League of Volunteers, each show will be held at Newark Junior High School, 6201 Lafayette Ave.

Tickets cost $16 for general admission (ages 13 and up), which includes two free children's tickets for youth ages 12 and under.

Cost for tickets purchased in advanced, however, costs $12 through June 14.
