Registration For 2012 Little League Season Opens

As major leaguers are prepping for the World Series, it’s time for your baseball players to start thinking about the 2012 season with the Newark National Little League. 

Registration is open for these divisions: Challenger (for disabled players), T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors, Juniors, Seniors and Big Leagues.

Registration is now open for baseball players between ages 4 and 18, and there are three in-person registration days:

• Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mountain Mike’s Pizza
• Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mountain Mike’s Pizza
• Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11 am. to 3 p.m. at Mountain Mike’s Pizza

To be eligible to register with NNLL you must:

• Provide an original birth certificate of the player
• Bring three copies of proof of residency documents.
  • Eligible documents are: driver’s licenses, voter registrations, school records, welfare/childcare records, homeowner/tenant records, utility bill, financial records, insurance documents, medical records, military records, internet/cable/satellite records, vehicle records and employment records.

Registration fees are as follows:

For children between ages 4 and 8:

• $80 before Oct. 31
• $90 before Nov. 30
• $100 before Dec. 31 (Regular rate)
• $125 by Jan. 15 (Late fee included)

For children and teens between ages 9 and 18:

• $104 before Oct. 31
• $117 before Nov. 30
• $150 before Dec. 31 (Regular rate)
• $155 by Jan. 15 (Late fee included)

Discounts are also available. There is a 30 percent discount for additional younger siblings and a 20 percent discount for new players introduced by a current player. A special family discount is available for families with three or more children registered with NNLL.
