Newark Soccer Fall Season Opening Day is Friday

The 2012 Newark Soccer/Newark Elite Fall Season Opening Day will take place
Friday, Sept. 7 at at 6 p.m.

Opening Day is a long time tradition in Newark soccer.

Opening Day has evolved into a fun filled event, which includes a ceremonial team parade, official "first kick" ceremony, food booths, face painting, balloon art, etc.

Support the Newark Soccer Club by taking a chance to win 1 of 8 great baskets:

• Free Registration (excludes uniform)
• $100 gift card from Mi Pueblo
• $25 gift certificate from iHop
• Fruit Tart Basket
• Movie Night Basket
• $25 gift certificate from iHop

Tickets for baskets are $1 each or seven for $5 and will be available during our
Opening Ceremony. Winners will be announced at the end of the parade.

In addition all teams will be judged on the best banner and most spirited team
and awarding the recreational team winner with $100 gift card to Love at First
Slice for their end of the year pizza party for the banner and $50 Gift Card
towards an Ice Cream party at Shakers Pizza for the most spirited team.

The competitive team winner with $100 credit towards their acct for best banner and $100 for most spirited.

We cordially ask that all teams arrive at Silliman Center SportsField by 5 p.m.
with Newark Soccer /Newark Elite uniforms and a team banner (if available).
