Concord High will host Newark Memorial High in the first round of this year's Division II high school football playoffs.
The game begins at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Newark Memorial finished the season with a 5-4-1 record.
The 10th ranked Cougars played two games last week, defeating Irvington High on Friday night and then losing to Castro Valley High on Saturday in the completion of a Sept. 9 game suspended by stormy weather.
The 7th ranked Minutemen finished the year with a 7-3 mark. They have won seven of their past eight games.
