A wrap-up of the third meet of the Newark Bluefins as provided by Jody Montgomery.
For the second consecutive week, the Newark Bluefins Swim Team beat out the competition to claim victory in its June 18 meet.
The win came with a score of 531-517 against the Kennedy Seals Swim Club of Fremont.
No records were set during the meet, which was held on the campus, but Emily and Isabelle Loaisiga scored the maximum amount of points possible.
Big Tuna Awards were given to Aiden Cannon, Angela Quan, Isabelle Loaisiga, Kabir Dhillon and Ricardo Corte.
This Friday, the Newarks Bluefins compete against the Mission Highlands Sharks Swim Team in a pajama-themed meet starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Newark Memorial High School pool.
