Local Little League Team Moves on to California Section 3, Ages 10-11, All-Star Tournament

Newark American Little League named California District 14 10-11 All-Star Champions

Newark American Little League—With strong pitching and timely hitting, Newark American Little League (NALL) propelled itself to win Little League Baseball's California District 14's Championship in the 10-11 All-Star Tournament.

NALL scored early over Niles-Centerville Little League (NCLL) and was able to stay ahead of a scrappy NCLL team on July 12.

Tuesday’s game was a winner-takes-all game made necessary after NCLL's win over NALL Monday. Played at Warm Springs Elementary School, home of Warm Springs Little League, the final score was NALL, 5 – NCLL, 3.
