Legend Kung Fu Academy Opens on July 21, 2012
Newark, July 21, 2012 - It’s not every day a new martial arts school opens in Newark, California.
Visit the new Legend Kung Fu Academy at its grand opening at Cedar Springs Mall on Saturday, July 21st and enjoy family entertainment, fun, and excitement with martial arts demonstration.
Kung Fu is a Chinese martial art, which in Chinese means
‘great skill.” The contemporary style known as wushu is a rewarding sport that helps build hand, eye, and body coordination.
Master teacher Sifu Li Zheng is a multiple champion at the University Games in People’s Republic of China and international winner at the Hong Kong and Macao Wushu Festivals. His specialty is kung fu and tai chi quan. He has been teaching kung fu in the Bay Area for more than four years.
When you see the list of Li’s students, you will recognize some of the Bay Area’s finest martial artists. In March 2012 two of his students won the “All Around Grand Championship” at the prestigious University of California Berkeley’s Chinese Martial Arts Tournament. Three students also won the “All Around Grand Championship” at Tiger Claw Kung Fu Magazine Championship Tournament in San Jose this past June. Li was beaming when he shared, “I am so proud that three of my students recently made the United States National Traditional Team.”
Come celebrate Legend Kung Fu’s Grand Opening and
see what all the excitement is about.
