Day Four Recap

Athen:
Today Sucked!

Ricky:
Today was the most boring day ever.  There was absolutely no visual stimulation on our ride.

Jack:
So earlier, when Rick was on his 50 mile ride with Athen, for some reason he only thought the ride was 40 miles.  So when he was 30 miles in, and thinking he only had 10 to go, he saw a sign that said Aguila, 20 miles ahead.  How pissed was he! So his motivation to complete the extra 10 miles he hadn't anticipated... he imagined Jim and I would be in front of the RV waiting for him with grapes! Hilarious!

So when Athen and Rick met up with us in Aguila, Jim and I jumped on our bikes and jammed out another 28 miles.  The ride wasn't too bad; of the last 10 miles, the first 2 were uphill, but then the last 8 were downhill.  We're now in Wickenburg for the night.  We're about 70 miles out of Phoenix and anticipate arriving around noon tomorrow.

FYI. From a scale of 1-10 on pain level, I'm at about a 7.
