When Does School Start in Newark?

It's nearing the end of July, and for some it means the beginning of the school year is in mind.

Here is a list of when school begins at Newark schools and links to follow in order to download each school's 2012-13 school calendar:

Newark Unified School District: Aug. 27

Challenger School Ardenwood (Preschool to Grade 8): Aug. 20

• Download the 2012-13 calendar for Challenger School Ardenwood here.

Challenger School Newark (Preschool to Kindergarten): Aug. 20-21 (depending on weekday schedule)

St. Edward Catholic School: Aug. 22
