School Board Agenda: Measure G Construction Management Firm Selection; A-G Presentation

The agenda for Newark Unified Board of Education's Oct. 30 board meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. at the district office, 5715 Musick Ave.

The Newark Unified School Board will meet for a regular meeting Tuesday night and among the topics to be discussed is a presentation on an update of A-G, which are guidelines for admission to a four-year college/university, according to the agenda.

The board recently adopted a policy that aligns Newark Memorial High School's graduation requirements with A-G.

Also on the agenda are:

  • A presentation and scheduled vote to select Vanir Construction Management, Inc. as the construction management firm for Measure G-related projects.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the district office located at 5715 Musick Ave.

One story I tried to read had an ad covering 1/4 of it, and there was no way to make it go away.
