"My 3 children have gone to Silliman Center for their pre schooling. There are many things that I love about them. Besides the awesome teachers (Nancy and Eileen) that have prepared them WELL for Kindergarten, the fact that the kids' play area is enclosed to the public and the bathroom facilities were only for the kids' use, made me feel secure about their surroundings. I didn't mind helping out in the classrooms. I believe that as parents, we need to be involved with the development of our children. Plus, it wasn't hard work and it was fun for all of us. I would recommend the Silliman Center over and over again!," Kathy Otico wrote to Newark Patch as a comment.

First Flight and the Community Center came in second and third, respectively, and were only separated by one vote.

Parents of children who attend First Flight said the curriculum and fun learning environment is what made this preschool recommendable.

Estela Guerra commented, "My son has been attending First Flight Preschool in Newark since September. This is a fabulous school! The teachers really love the students and the facility. It's like a home away from home where children are allowed to explore and be creative. Ms. Annika and Ms. Shannon are amazing. I vote for First Flight."
