NUSD Seeks New Junior High Assistant Principal

Former assistant principal James McGee resigned to take on a new position with Hayward Unified School District.

Newark Unified School District is in search for a new assistant principal for its junior high.

assistant principal James McGee has resigned. McGee was appointed as a principal at an elementary school with neighboring Hayward Unified School District.

“We wish him well at his new position,” Superintendent of Schools Dave Marken recently told Patch.

Marken said McGee’s last day has passed and the job opening was listed on June 20.

The assistant principal job vacancy is one of 23 listed with as open on EdJoin.org.

Among the job listings are temporary teacher positions at various school sites, teachers for core subjects and electives such as art and music at the high school and junior high and more.

Your title is misleading, it should read: NUSD Seeks New Junior High Assistant Principal. Mr.Neal is still the principal at Newark Junior High.
