The Newark Unified School Board will meet for a regular meeting Tuesday night and among the topics to be discussed is a presentation on the district's 2011-12 unaudited actuals, which is related to the district's budget, according to the agenda.
Also on the agenda are:
- Staff reports on the district's First Five program, Summer Intervention Academy and Extended School Year.
- A vote on whether to authorize a one-year lease between the district and Kidango, a child care program that has operated out of leased rooms as the former Ruschin Elementary School campus.
- A vote on whether to support Proposition 30, the Schools and Local Public Safety Protection Act and Proposition 38, Our Children Our Future: Local Schools and Early Education Investment Act.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the district office located at 5715 Musick Ave.
