Video Blog: 2011 Holiday Tree Lighting

Rick Arellano is a Newark resident and professor at Ohlone Community College. In this video blog, he shares the sights and sounds of the annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Tree of Angels.

The Holiday Tree Lighting took place on Dec. 5 at the city of Newark Civic Center. The traditional program included caroling, refreshments and  special performances from What the Dickens? and the Newark Memorial High School Advanced Choir.
