IRS-Certified VITA Volunteers To Offer Free Tax Preparation Services
Rick Arellano is a Newark resident and profesor at Ohlone Community College. In this blog, he provides information about free tax preparation services for low-income households.
For the 10th season, the Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC) is opening its VITA doors!
The IRS-certified VITA volunteers will provide FREE tax preparation services for individuals and households making $50,000 or less.
New this year, in addition to on-site tax preparation services, the FRC VITA site will offer external in-take sites, or drop-off sites.

Customers drop off their tax documents at the Union City Library or the Newark Library, and will make arrangements to pick up their completed returns at a later date. Also, we are providing on-site tax services at the Ralph & Mary Ruggeri Senior Center located in Union City.
