What Are Condos And Townhomes Selling For In Newark?

The supply is limited. Here's an example of one that's on the market now.

If you're looking for a condominium or townhouse in Newark, you won't have a lot to choose from and you can expect to spend about $280,000.

That's the average price right now of the two units in that category listed for sale in Newark on the Multiple Listing Service for East Bay Realtors.

What can you get for that amount of money?

One example is a condominium at 6339 Joaquin Murieta Ave. The two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit is listed at $280,000.

The condo is 1,077 square feet. It was built in 1981 and has been on the market for about two weeks.

320k for a condo in Newark (and Fremont) is a ripoff. Want to see prices go down, don't buy it. Let it sit on the market. If nobody buys these properties and they sit on the market, greedy sellers/realtors will be forced to lower their prices to a more realistic and reasonable price.
