The Most Expensive Homes For Sale in Southern, Central Alameda County

Check out these large homes in the region with all sorts of amenities

The Bay Area housing market has cooled off along with the fall weather.

In September, the median price as well as home sales in the nine-county Bay Area decreased from the month before.

Both were still up from September 2012, however.

The median price for all types of homes in the Bay Area is now $530,000, about 2 percent less than it was in August.

With that in mind, we thought we'd see what are still some of the most expensive homes for sale in southern and central Alameda County.

In Castro Valley, there's this five-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 7108 Crow Canyon Road that's listed at $3.2 million.

The 3,500-square-foot house sits on 73 acres. It has an additional house and a horse boarding facility.

In Fremont, there's this six-bedroom, 11-bathroom home at 44555 Overlook Terrace that's listed at $5.9 million.

The 13,319-square-foot house sits on 1.9 acres. It has marble cherry floors, saunas, a theater and an indoor pool.

In Union City, this four-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 4557 Fernandez St. is listed at $1.1 million.

The 3,854-square-foot house sits on a seventh of an acre. It a gourmet kitchen, a butler's pantry and surround sound.
