You know the old saying. They don't make 'em like they used to.
They may or may not be true when it comes to homes, but for some people older houses are simply quainter and more "lived in."
This week, we thought we'd try to find the oldest home for sale in each of our communities.
In Newark, there's this two-bedroom, one-bathroom house at 7801 Wells Ave. that was built in 1946.
The 836-square-foot residence sits on a seventh of an acre and has undergone some remodeling. The list price is $498,000.
