Newark Seeks Planning Commissioner

The City of Newark is seeking a Planning Commissioner to fill a vacancy left by a resignation, announced Sheila Harrington, city clerk of Newark, on Tuesday.

Commissioner Theresa Ballard Dias resigned in December 2013. 

Planning Commissioners review plans for land use and recommend action to the Newark City Council. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.

Interested parties must be registered voters and residents of Newark to be considered.
