Live Stream Now Available for City Meetings

Residents who can't make city council and planning commission meetings can now view them online as the meeting is held.

Can’t make that important city council or planning commission meeting?

Newark residents now have the option to watch meetings live on their computer screens, according to www.newark.org.

City officials posted that starting Thursday, meetings will now be streamed here: http://newarkca.pegstream.com/ and meetings will remain available on Newark’s local television station, channel 26. Agendas for city meetings can be found here.

Previous meetings can be viewed on the City Council Videos Page.

Newark residents, do you like this new option? Will you tune in on the live streamed videos? Share your thoughts in our comments section below.

I know! We're working on it. But if you've got a nice, high-res photo you'd like to showcase, feelRead More free to email it to me.

One story I tried to read had an ad covering 1/4 of it, and there was no way to make it go away.

Don't like it at all. "Change" isn't always for the better.
