Share Your Voting Photos

Did you take a photo of your polling place, or while you were in the booth? Where did you put your "I Voted" sticker? Share them with your local Patch by uploading them here.

Tri-Cities voters — along with citizens around the country - headed (or are headed) to the polls today.

While there are reports that voter turnout at polling areas throughout the Bay Area appear to be less than the 2008 presidential election, Fremont volunteers said turnout has been consistent.

Inspector Dave Hupp is charged with the operation of the polling place located at the Fremont Central Park Teen Center and said that the center was full of voters in the morning.

As of 2 p.m., approximately 230 people had casted their vote at that location, Hupp said.

Alameda County Registrar of Voters Dave Macdonald said in 2008, 78 percent of voters in Alameda County cast their ballots. This year, he speculates about 70 percent of residents will vote.

One story I tried to read had an ad covering 1/4 of it, and there was no way to make it go away.

Don't like it at all. "Change" isn't always for the better.
