All BART Trains Heading to San Francisco from East Bay Delayed

'Major delays' are being projected, according to the BART website

By Bay City News—

All BART trains heading into San Francisco from the East Bay this morning are experiencing up to 20-minute delays, according to a BART employee. An equipment problem was reported around 9:15 a.m. in the Transbay Tube just outside of the West Oakland station, the employee said.

Crews have responded to the area and trains heading into the tube are being forced to travel at reduced speeds, she said. Delays are anywhere between 15 and 20 minutes on affected lines.
