Teen Robbed Behind Liquor Store

The robbery occurred Saturday; no arrests have been made.

A teenager was robbed and punched during a Saturday afternoon robbery behind a liquor store, police said.

Three suspects confronted the 16-year-old boy behind off Newark Boulevard around 3 p.m. Saturday, punched him and stole his wallet, according to a Newark Police press release.

The suspects were described as three black males wearing ski masks.

Any person with any information concerning these incidents can contact the Newark Police Department's non-emergency line at 510-578-4237 or can call the Silent Witness Hotline at 510-578-4000, extension 500.
