Stray Dog Bites Resident's Dog

Newark police say that a caller reported that a large, stray black-and-white dog bit her dog Sunday evening. 

The call came in at 5:56 pm on the 6300 block of Mirabeu Drive.

Police say the stray was not located and the caller did not wish to file a police report.  

A tipster told Patch that the attacking animal was a pit bull but police did not corroborate that and had no further description other than that offered above.
