San Jose police are currently hovering over Newark in a helicopter as part of a search for a missing elderly man who suffers from dementia, Newark police said.
San Jose authorities began circling around the area of Thornton Avenue and City Hall around 12:40 p.m. to look for the missing 70-year-old man.
The missing man is described as a 5-foot-7 tall, 110-pound Asian male who was last seen wearing a backpack and ball cap.
