Woman's Body Found at Dublin/Pleasanton BART

Officials are investigating the incident and say the body was found near a parking structure in the bushes, according to reports.

Bay City News Service

A body was found this afternoon in the bushes near the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station parking lot, a BART police lieutenant said.

Someone called police about a body in the bushes around 12:30 p.m., BART police Lt. M. Hayes said.

An officer was sent to the area and found a person who appeared to have died in what authorities are calling an "unattended death," according to Hayes. The circumstances of the death are being investigated, he said.

Other media reports identify the body as a woman.

BART service is running normally, BART spokesman Jim Allison said.

We will update this story as more information is made available.

Somehow went from the discovery of a woman's dead body to a political discussion and another opportunity to fling about insults.

@Local: Maybe it was this line "... this eugenicist dream and real estate agency bait-and-switch as whites run from what they created in the city to the sub-burbs then back to the city to gentrify and push the poor to the streets." Sounds pretty racist to me too.

She was a wonderful friend to so many and an amazing person. She will be missed a great deal by everyone who's life she touched. Myself included. It's sad that so many of these coments have nothing to do with this heartbreaking news.
