Police Release Sketch of Suspected Kidnapper

A man who kidnapped and robbed a woman at gunpoint is at large.

Fremont Police released a sketch of a man who abducted a woman and  robbed her.  Law enforcement officials say that on the night of September 9th the woman was getting out of her car at the condos by Mission and Mohave when a strange man came toward her with a handgun. The man told her to get back into her car and compelled her to drive away.  When she stopped the car, he took her money and left the scene.

Police said that while the robbery took place, the man told his victim that his friend had been shot and that police were searching for him. The woman was not injured.

The man is described as a man in his 20s, about 5’7” and approximately 135 pounds.  He has shaggy wavy hair that is dark brown or black with dark brown eyes. He is slender of build and possibly of Middle Eastern heritage.
