Police Investigate Strong-Arm Robbery At Parking Lot of BJ's Restaurant

No suspect description was immediately available.

Police officers from the Newark and Fremont police department investigated a strong-arm robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a Newark restaurant late Thursday night.

Police said Fremont officers were flagged down near around 9:23 p.m. to a report of a strong-arm robbery.

Police set up a perimeter but no suspects were found. Parts of Mowry Avenue were closed down, according to residents that were in the area at that time.

No injuries were reported and no suspect description was immediately available.

Last June, police investigated that occurred in that same parking lot.
