Pair Killed in Monday's Fatal Collision in Fremont Identified

The two were both pronounced dead at the scene on Delaware Street and Fremont Boulevard after the vehicle they were in crashed into another and fell into a drainage canal.

The identities of two people killed in a collision in Fremont’s Grimmer neighborhood Monday afternoon were released, according to a local newspaper.

The Argus reported that the couple was identified as Wayne Kevin Dutra, 35, and Julie Ann Frary, 36, both of Fremont.Click here to read the full report from the Argus.

The two were pronounced dead at the scene after the driver of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo they were in ran a red light and hit another vehicle at the intersection of Delaware Street and Fremont Boulevard, according to the Argus.

The Chevy Monte Carlo plummeted into a nearby drainage ditch. Its two other occupants were transported to a hospital and were listed in critical condition, according to media reports.
