Drunk Driver Crashes into Ambulance

No one was injured in the accident.

Ambulances are pretty hard to miss but, apparently, they aren’t bright enough for one local driver. 

At about 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, a 44-year-old Fremont man drove through the construction zone on Thornton Avenue near Cedar Boulevard and crashed into a Paramedics Plus ambulance, according to Newark police.

Luckily, no patients were on-board the ambulance.

According to Newark police, no one was injured during the incident.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and booked at Santa Rita Jail.
