Collision Sends Two People To The Hospital

Four cars involved in Monday evening accident at Cherry Street and Central Avenue

Two people were injured in a four-vehicle accident at the intersection of Cherry Street and Central Avenue on Monday evening.

Newark police said the collision happened at 5:43 p.m. The intersection was not fully cleared until 9 p.m.

Two people received non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital.

No arrests were made.

There was no immediate information available on what caused the accident.
