Bad Planning & Rude Female Officer

This morning my wife was yelled at by a rude female Newark Officer because her car was parked on the street and they were starting to do pavement work. The officer told her if she doesn't move NOW! it will be towed. She came out with both pistols drawn so to speak.. My wife told her that a notice was dropped off at around 7pm last night regarding the street work dates but, NOT TIMES were listed. The officer then said the electronic sign on cedar & newark blvd had it posted since Thursday. Well Im sorry but, we do not always drive up to that corner. it seems that was the ONLY place it was posted. Also, no signs posted were posted over the weekend along the street to give us warnings. So should I go to the police and complain on the rudeness of the female officer?Β Why bother, all they will do is throw it back on us for not driving down cedar and not noticing the sign. The police don't make or are ever rude... yeah right. I blame this on the City for NOT making sure that the contractor has given plenty notice to the residents and at more than one location.Β
