Halloween is comin'!

Librarian Kat Blair blogs about this Saturday's Newark Library Halloween Craft.

So what are you planning on doing for Halloween? Decorating? Trick-or-Treating? A little of everything?

If you have kids or if they come to your door you know how fun Halloween can be. It seems there are fewer and fewer going door-to-door each year though, there are fun parties at schools and churches.

Even libraries do what they can. Newark Library won't be open on Halloween, but we have a craft selected for Saturday, October 22 at 3 p.m.

If you are old enough to wield scissors we want you to take home your very own moveable Mr. Bones and if you are very little you only need to be able to glue to take home Jack O'Lantern. By all means bring an assistant if you need to.

Moms and dads make excellent assistants! Crafts and supplies are a gift to you thanks to the Newark Library League.
