Guide Series: Making Money Online

People often ask me how I make money over the Internet and whether or not I have advice for them on how to do the same. Usually, I reply with a cryptic one liner referring to services I offer and using Paypal.

However, I keep getting asked the same questions time and again so I'm finally putting it all out there, just like my Belly!

Back in the late 90's it was as simple as Joining an Affiliate Program with a Company, cutting and pasting some HTML into your Webpage and collecting the dough. However over the years the Advertising landscape has changed drastically thanks to the advent of Ad Blocking Software.

Everyday on the Internet more and more Internet Users are installing this Ad Blocking Software onto their computers and as a consequence, free based Websites which rely on this Ad Revenue are struggling to survive while others go belly up and disappear.

Cue Premium Based Membership Websites, for a one time or recurring fee, a Member can access a Premium area of a Website without Advertisements and usually get other perks. Of course this also drives away those who refuse to pay for an Online Service and thus it's a catch 22 situation, damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The bottomline though regarding Advertising or Subscriptions is that without this money most Websites for a Cause would cease to exist.

These days, the Internet is full of Opportunities which don't rely on Advertising, or Subscription based models. People of little to no Education and all skill levels are able to start an Online Business relatively easy and begin building a reputation and earning a living.
