Free Falling From The Edge Of Space (Live Video)

Felix Baumgartner Attempts to be the First Human to break the Speed of Sound by Free Falling from 23 Miles up. Watch Live as this Dare Devil Makes History.

Will He Splat or Live to Tell the Tale?

This remains to be seen but in just over an Hour from now Felix Baumgartner will Attempt to break Colonel Joe Kittingers Record for Free Falling from the Stratosphere. It's a potentially proud moment in the History of Human Species as Felix will be jumping from the "Edge Of Space" beginning his Free Fall Descent at about 115,000 Feet or 23 Miles Above.

This will be Attempt Number 2 for the Dare Devil from Austria as the first Attempt this past Thursday had to be Aborted at the very last moment due to Gusty Winds.

The Next possible Window this Morning will begin at about 9:00AM PST as he will start making his Ascent to the Stratosphere via his Launch Capsule which will be attached to a Custom Built High Altitude Hot Air Balloon which is about 55 Stories High and 10 times the Size of the current Record Holders Balloon, Colonel Joe Kittinger back in 1960.

Although Felix Baumgartner will be Protected by a Space Suit with an Oxygen Tank and will have a Parachute on him the chances of being able to Land safely are slim to none even with all the Precautions his Launch Team makes. When you think about completing such a feat you can't worry about the what ifs, and just do it as he will be doing.

This day will forever be marked in History Books of the near future and inspire Tomorrows Youth to Shoot for the Stars. Considering NASA's Shuttle Program has been Retired this is the next best thing for those wishing to Accomplish the Impossible.

From one Dreamer to another I wish you the best of Luck Felix Baumgartner and may those Huge Stones you have bring you safely back to Earth.

Anyone wishing to Watch this Live Event can do so by going to the Official Red Bull Stratos Mission Website which has Digital Gauges on the right hand side of the page allowing you to see his Current Altitude and Wind Speed etc.

I remember as a teacher buying my own supplies. Looking back I don't regret buying anything andRead More realize that each person's teaching style is different. The things I might buy for my classroom would be totally different than you. Running a classroom is a lot like running a business, there are expenses and you just have to deal with that.

One story I tried to read had an ad covering 1/4 of it, and there was no way to make it go away.
