Planning Committee Meeting - 25th ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER

YOU ARE INVITED TO HELP PLAN THE 25th ANNUAL THANKSGIVING  DAY DINNNER

Every year there are thousands of people in our community who spend Thanksgiving Day alone.  They're home-bound, or don’t have the resources, money or shelter to feed themselves or their family!

If you want to help make this Thanksgiving Day a time of love and thankfulness for both your own family and those in need, then please join us and other interested community volunteers at our Thanksgiving Day Dinner CORE PLANNING COMMITTEE KICK-OFF, Wednesday, September 25th at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the League of Volunteers – LOV’s Community Service Center, 8440 Central Ave., Suite A/B., Newark.

Last year 4,483 meals were served to our guests at the Newark

Pavilion and deliveries to the home-bound in Fremont,
Newark, Union City,
Hayward, San Leandro,
San Lorenzo and Castro Valley.
