Enjoy your leisurely stroll through the SummerFest site with an icy brew or a pleasing  glass of wine.  This year you’ll find some of your favorite brews on tap as well as a few new brands to tempt your tastebuds. Yes, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and of course, CASH are all welcome at SummerFest.

Entertainment:  On Stage at SummerFest.  What’s a summer festival without the music? There is no such thing!  Plan to enjoy lots of energetic, fun music that will get you moving on both days at SummerFest.

Our headliner band this year is Daze on the Green, who takes the stage on Sunday, at 2:00 pm. Daze on the Green and our other bands will get you up and dancin' or just relaxin' and enjoyin! Get the lineup and schedule at www.NewarkSummerFest.com.

NewPark Mall KidZone – a fun place to play for the whole family!Always one of the most popular areas at SummerFest, KidZone is an area set aside for kids – BIG KIDS and small kids, even  grown-up kids wanting to revisit and explore their inner child with their own children. This year we have a VERY exciting addition to KidZone, brought to you by NewPark Mall. KidZone will feature a Special Appearance by the Disney Crew and their Doc McStuffins Check-Up Station all day on Sunday, July 13. Classic Cruisers Car Show!  Saturday, July 12 only.  Car enthusiasts who appreciate the tender care and restoration of classic vehicles of all kinds

will be delighted with the display at SummerFest this year, only on Sunday. And yes, there will be Awards will be presented in all

Hungry? It’s all about treating your taste buds with something that hits the spot!  Enjoy your beverages of choice with some mouth-watering festival foods there for your pleasure! Beer & wine....go well with...EVERYTHING! And if, perchance, at some point during your visit you need a respite from all the sun and fun, and feel air conditioned comfort is an absolute must, remember  - you’re at the mall!  NewPark Mall is a major sponsor and plays host to SummerFest, so you are only steps away from a wonderful selection of mall stores and restaurants.  When you’ve shopped and cooled down, sure, come on back outside and listen to the next band.  Plan your air conditioning breaks between bands so you don’t miss a thing!

Farmers’ Market. Do you like your Sundays to begin a little more
leisurely than Saturdays?  Well you can
have that, too, as on Sunday you’ll enjoy the bounty of the Marin Farmers’
Market at the SummerFest site, where you can pick up some of your favorite
fruits, vegetables and other items -  farm

fresh to you! The Farmers’ Market opens at 10 and ends at 1:00p.m. but the festival experience continues until 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
