New Health Care Options for LGBTQ

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) and NJ Health Insurance Marketplace will result in new options for health care for hundreds of thousands of people across New Jersey.

This session will provide up-to-date information on how the ACA and the NJ Marketplace will impact LGBTQ populations and other traditionally underserved communities. Join us and learn how the changes to our health care system affect patients, providers and populations.

Presenter: Thomas Bane, LMSW - Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Thomas Bane is a member of the external affairs team for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. He works with stakeholders from across New Jersey and New York to help them understand federal health insurance programs.
