National Night Out
National Night Out is being held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 this year and is an annual nationwide event designed to strengthen relationships in your neighborhoods, raise crime prevention awareness, and enhance relationships with public safety; Police, Fire, CERT, RAVEN Volunteers, and Ham Radio Operators.
All Newark citizens, neighborhoods, apartment complexes, townhomes, business, and shopping centers are invited and encouraged to particapte. Hosting an event or block party is a simple way for people to meet, have fun, and explore how they might work together to improve the safety and quality of of life in their neighborhood.
