Free Holiday Concert by the Newark Symphonic Winds

Newark Symphonic Winds 9th

Free Holiday Concert

Newark Memorial High School

Theatre, 39375 Cedar Blvd., Newark, CA

Come and enjoy an evening

of delightful symphonic music provided free-of-charge by the Tri-City Area's 40
musician symphony - the Newark Symphonic Winds - directed by Richard Wong. Sponsored by the Fremont Bank Foundation.

This evening's performance
will include: A wonderful tribute to Satchmo, aka Louis Armstrong, with tunes such as "What a Wonderful World" and "Hello, Dolly" – experience
the magnificent compositions of John Williams – a reading of "'twas the
Night Before Christmas"
by Dave Smith (the former Mayor of Newark) – a
selection of beloved Christmas tunes from around Europe – a community
sing-along
– and much more. There will be a special performance by the talented Montecito Brass as well. Last, it's very likely that Santa will be attending
our performance – so be certain to bring the children. You can visit our
website: newarksymphonic.org for directions to the
theatre.
