The League of Volunteers - LOV and the Newark Arts Council will bring Sourdough Slim, aka Rick Crowder in his one man Western Extravaganza - crooning Western classics, playing the accordion - guitar and harmonica, dancing jigs, twirling a lariat and yodeling. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Lincoln and Kennedy Centers and venues around the country. For a "hoot" of an afternoon - come to the MacGregor/Bridgepoint School Auditorium. Doors open at 1 pm and complimentary refreshments are served during intermission.
