Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar's name has popuated social media sites since she went missing two months ago.
On Tuesday, authorities announced that they believed the 15-year-old girl who grew up in Fremont is dead based on circumstantial evidence that Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith said is "adequate facts" during a .
"We have strong facts to believe she has been murdered," Smith said.
This new development and the arrest of 21-year-old of Morgan Hill in connection to Sierra's disappearance has resulted in an array of reactions from those who have been following her case.
Torres faces one count of murder and one count of kidnapping, according to authorities.
Posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram ranged from prayers for the LaMar family and hope that Sierra is still alive to anger and rage toward the man arrested in connection to her murder.
