Shooting Closes Lanes on Bay Bridge

Four lanes are closed on eastbound San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, according to media reports.

Several lanes of the eastbound lanes on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge are closed this morning as officers investigate a shooting incident there, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP first responded to the incident on the lower deck of the Bay Bridge at around 2 a.m. and closed all lanes headed to Oakland for about 15 minutes.

Three lanes were opened for several hours after that, but as of around 4:30 a.m. all lanes are closed once again.

According to KTVU 2, four lanes are currently closed as of 8:05 a.m. CHP did not estimate what time the lanes will reopen.
