Why Go: See more than a dozen of the world's biggest and baddest monster trucks come to the Bay Area for an awesome show of horsepower. Trucks scheduled to appear include Grave Digger, Time Flys, Ironman and Tropical Thunder.

Why Go: Check out the second art show that allows seniors to participate in storytelling while youths develop their artistic skills.

Where/When: Learning Center of Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge; Sunday 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: Learn the incredible history of the death and rebirth of the Bay and how local citizens struggled to save the Bay and its wetlands.
