OHLONE COLLEGE FOUNDATION 2011 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR LUNCHEON

- Why Go: Don’t miss the Ohlone College Foundation’s largest fundraising event, benefiting Ohlone College student scholarships. This year the event honors the Rotary Clubs of the Tri-Cities and highlights students who are the recipients of more than $100,000 in scholarships for spring 2011.

- Why Go: Check out more than 350 show cars, find treasures at the swap meet, enjoy food, drinks and live music and enter the drawings for a chance to win $100 cash!

- Where/When: The Saddlerack, Fremont; Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Why Go: The event will include live demonstrations by firefighters, music, entertainment and 30 varieties of chili. There will also be snacks and activities for kids, including fire safety presentations.
