  • Why Go: Don’t miss the Ohlone College Foundation’s largest fundraising event, benefiting Ohlone College student scholarships. This year the event honors the Rotary Clubs of the Tri-Cities and highlights students who are the recipients of more than $100,000 in scholarships for spring 2011.

20TH ANNUAL GREAT ROTARY FREMONT CHILI COOK-OFF

  • Where/When: The Saddlerack, Fremont; Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Why Go: The event will include live demonstrations by firefighters, music, entertainment and 30 varieties of chili. There will also be snacks and activities for kids, including fire safety presentations.
  • Pricing: $8 in advance; $10 at the gate
