Where/When: Dragons Den MMA, Union City; Saturday at 10 a.m.
Why Go: UFC (Ultimate Fighting Champion) fighter Brandon Vera will teach a two-hour seminar, followed by a photo and autograph session at noon.

Where/When: ; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go: Don’t miss the Ohlone College Foundation’s largest fundraising event, benefiting Ohlone College student scholarships. This year the event honors the Rotary Clubs of the Tri-Cities and highlights students who are the recipients of more than $100,000 in scholarships for spring 2011.

Where/When: The Silent Film Museum in Niles, Fremont; Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: Watch some short Charlie Chaplin films, participate in a Chaplin look-a-like contest and play penny carnival games.

Where/When: The Saddlerack, Fremont; Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: The event will include live demonstrations by firefighters, music, entertainment and 30 varieties of chili. There will also be snacks and activities for kids, including fire safety presentations.
